SUBMISSION
Proposals should preferably be submitted electronically, using the appropriate form. Those unable to submit your proposal with the use of a computer can complete a paper copy of the proposal and submit it by mail or fax.
Fields on the form
The following nine windows must be completed in the form :
- Name(s) of author(s), presenter(s) and their affiliation(s)
- Four-line biography of main author(s)
- Which theme(s) the proposal addresses
- Title of presentation
- The desired format of the presentation (sessions can include up to five presentations)
- Language used for the presentation (please indicate a first and second language preference: French, English or Spanish)
- Summary
- Audiovisual equipment required
- Special needs
In using the electronic form, the layout as well as the characters and length of the title and the summary are automatically standardized to ensure fairness.
Proposal Format
1. Presentation titles must be descriptive enough to make it easy for Congress delegates to choose presentations. Title length must not exceed 100 characters, including spaces.
2. The name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s) must be specified. For each abstract, the maximum number of authors is four.
3. Proposals must not exceed 250 words.
4. Submissions will be accepted in three languages: English, French and Spanish. Please note that only the main conferences will provide simultaneous translation, this service will not be available for oral presentations, sessions or posters.

Equipment
Audiovisual equipment requirements
- All rooms have electronic presentation equipment.
- Specify any additional audiovisual equipment needed, if applicable.
Poster format
- The size of the posters is 4 feet (1.20 meters) large by 4 to 5 feet (1.20 to 1.50 meters) high.
Special needs
- The presenter(s) must specify particular needs for the presentation in the space provided. Congress organizers may contact the author(s) about this matter, if necessary. |
